happy independence day!

I have made this treat a few treat a few times now. actually the first time was almost exactly a year ago for a friends birthday. then I made it for my class reunion mini party, and my moms birthday. and maybe one other time. but I haven't made one for quite a few months.

I saw the idea from last july's martha stewart living magazine. this is what it's supposed to look like {mine have never looked this beautiful}
