performing surgery

I had to circulate a c-section last week, and took the time to watch the doctor do the final stitches. I never thought I would have to use the skills I "learned" (okay- watched).



I don't know why she goes straight for the nose.



Scalpel...or rather scissors.



all done. and what a great job I did if I do say so myself. I could dictate the procedure, but I don't know all the fun words like pfannenstiel (it's a real word...I promise).



I think she approves.
I named her maggie. I know everyone was on pins and needles in anticipation of finding out her name.
