and here we go...

so I guess I never blogged about my house. yep, I bought a house. I closed in november, and moved in shortly thereafter. it took a few weeks to unpack, and I have been slowly decorating. someday I will take pictures of the inside so far, but this isn't a post about that...

my brother and his best friend came home from school yesterday and they are going to do my backyard for me. I thought I would post some before pictures, and then have something to blog about as the work continues...

this is a little garden area I have by my front door. this is actually my little project, which will get done, hopefully someday...

we had such a mild winter, that my mom and I actually cleared off most of the tumbleweed mess in january. then another brother helped clean off some of the rocks. the boys are going to start building a deck and a fence tomorrow. I am going to mow the front yard for the first time and do something to hopefully make it greener.
