lesson learned...again

measure...measure...then measure again. and measure the actual thing you are using, not one that looks just like it. just because two things look alike doesn't mean they measure the same.

patience...just because I'm tired doesn't mean the mod podge will dry any faster. and mod podge on top of not quite dry paper with mod podge as glue = waves in the paper.

just because you have to work tomorrow night doesn't mean you have to stay up all night tonight. especially if you are already tired.

on that note: night shift kinda, really sucks sometimes.

sleeping in bed is almost always better than sleeping on the couch.

things won't get done if you don't make time to do them.

you still don't need a dog. no matter how cute they are.

no matter how much money you will potentially make, having only two days off in the middle of seven is almost always a bad idea.

sometimes cooking is overrated. however, sleep never is.

people only like you if you like yourself...or the food you make.

even if a movie is a "classic", it can still be really dumb.

it's a good idea to take the garbage out to the road the night before they come, even if you plan on staying up all night. because at 0330 the best thought out plans are thrown out the window, and then you'll have a stinky garbage can for the next week.

making friends can be hard work.

whoever said "it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" was full of bunk.

no matter how many witty ideas you can come up with, each minute you spend blogging is one less minute you could spend sleeping.
