bigger or better

in my leadership class a couple of weeks ago my teacher had the class play "bigger or better." for those of you have never played bigger or better, you start with a small object and then go around to different houses, apartments, or businesses and ask if they have anything bigger or better than the object you currently have. if they do, and they want to, you trade objects. then you move on until you get an object you think will "win", or until time is up. my group started with a pencil and, in pictures, this is what we got...

yes, we really did get that painting. one of the girls in our group put it on ebay, and we actually sold it! crazy! we are going to use the money to help pay for our nursing pins...
